Hospital Sanitation Tech
Full Time • Newport Beach, CA
Sanitation Tech/EVS needed at a hospital in Newport Beach, CA
Compensation: $22/hr
Job Duties:
-Effectively cleans and sanitizes patient rooms and departments utilizing the proper cleaning methods, equipment and chemicals.
-Includes cleaning of bathrooms, walls, windows, doors, floors and carpets.
-Empties trash, waste baskets and linen hampers and transports soiled linens according to department standards.
-Cleans and maintains trash chute room floors/walls/vents.
-Assists with distribution and storage of supplies.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow written and verbal directions in English with a basic range of comprehension sufficient for understanding job specific forms, documents, signs, symbols and written instructions.
-At least 1 year experience in sanitation role
Preferred Experience: Previous hospital and/or hospitality housekeeping experience.
Schedule Notes:
-40 hrs a week
-Must have open availability to work weekends and all 3rd shift hours as needed, schedule is based on business needs.
